Hey guys, welcome to my DA page.

Here I plan to bring you all my latest flash project's and game design for the future as well as upload all my artwork and photography.
My main aspiration in life is to make it big as an animator and game designer, I hopefully wanna move to the big city and set up my own little art studio so I can make my dream happen.
Thanks so much for supporting, and hopefully you'll enjoy my work too when it's ready.
- Ashton

I am greatful for everyone who views and enjoys my work, sorry if I can't respond to every single comment and message I get but I hope you understand, very often I'm really busy and I can only respond to a handful of messages at a time.

My Art or My Photography is Not Stock! If you want to use anything in my gallery for any reason whatsoever you must ask my permission first and give me credit otherwise I will not hesitate to report you!

P.S. I'm well aware my Gallery is kinda a mess right now, once I've uploaded all my work I'm going to reconstruct the entire gallery from scratch, removing the junk, moving lesser work into scraps, etc and just genuinely tidying it up. Just try to bear with me until I do, I still have a lot to upload.

::My Halo Reach Mini Review::

I'm so lucky I got halo reach a day early. I think it all depends on luck, some people have had it all week already. I ordered mine from Amazon Uk and others who ordered the exact same deal are still waiting for theirs, so don't feel to bad if your waiting.
I won't spoil the game but I still say... Holy shit! THIS IS THE HALO GAME YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! I am serious, this is what halo should of been from the start. Every single stage throws you in huge battlefields, the covenant actually speak in alien languages now, you can no longer understand what they're saying like in Halo 1. I think it's because we humans didn't fully understand their language at the time and were only just learning it as the war went on (but then that doesn't explain Halo Wars so I dunno, just a theory... And a Damn good one at that so leave me alone!) :upset:
But seriously, no longer do you feel like a comic book super hero in a saterday morning cartoon, taking on an entire army of weak/dumb aliens by yourself. This is a real war your throwing yourself into, very rarely will you even be able to take on small packs of covenant by yourself, you'll always be accompanied by team mates and you'll rely on them a lot more than you would like to admit. (Even marines people, yes even marines...)

The Weapons and vehicles have been greatly improved as well, not to give too much away but there are a lot of new weapons that pack quite a punch, and there's also a cool new varient of the ghost which is like a cross beween a ghost and a wraith, unfortunately elites hog them with their lives so I havent had the chance to test drive one yet.
Thats another thing about Halo Reach, the environments are HUGE but you'll rarely ever have time to explore, like I said this is a real war your in and you have to take it seriously whether you like it or not, your actions do affect the safety of your team mates so leaving them to fight while you go explore the mountains is often a definate no-no.

Also, you might of already known this from the Beta (I personally felt too intimidated to try it for more than 15 minutes) but the customisation in this game is HUGE!
You can completely customise everything about your Spartan, and males and females no longer look identical like in past halo games. You earn cR points as you play which can be used to purchase more gear but for the elites they work on a different system. Saving up your points can upgrade your elite up the covenant ladder. So you'll start off as a basic Minor and work your way up to ultra, zealot, general, field marshall, etc (Btw the elite armour code that came with the Limited Edition package is just a variant of the standard elite, he does not outrank the other classes, only minor class so don't get on your high horse that Your elite is better than his elite...)

There's not much else I can say as I haven't tried any of the other features yet apart from campain and player model customization. I will say this, if your intimidated by the new control system, go to the control settings in the options menu and select RECON, thats pretty identical to Halo ODST though swapping grenades is now the B button as the LB trigger is now used for the armour system, RB is used to get in and out of vehicles (they'll walk you through that on the start of campain) and melee attacks are now the B button.

Using the armour upgrades feels natrual and you'll get used to it instantly so don't feel too intimidated by them, honestly it's like learning to drive a car, once you get settled you can't imagine life without it.
Bad example maybe? Well lets just say give campain a try before jumping straight into multiplayer if your worried about getting used to the controls, by the time you've cleared the first chapter you'll feel instantly at home. I recommend playing on Normal first, even if you consider yourself an expert at halo, as I said before this is an entirely new experience and you'll honestly feel like your back, playing Halo 1 for the first time ever? yeah, remember that feeling? ;P Thats  right, it's back baby!

The worlds are huge like Halo 1 but the chapters themselves are actually pretty short, unfortunately. Maybe even slightly shorter than ODST, which is a downside.
But to me, the truely big dissapointment is that this is the last halo game, because it feels so natrual and so perfect, you almost feel like your just walking into a new era of Halo, and instantly wish that the old games would someday be remade to this quality, sadly that will never happen but like Doom and Marathon, they'll live on as classics forever! (Yes people, whether you want to admit it or not, Halo IS A BIG DEAL!)

Well thats it for my preview/mini review. I'm probably gonna be on this for the rest of the week straight now but I managed to buy dead rising: case zero as well so I'll hopefully try to find some time aside for that as well. I think the best thing about Halo reach is that it Does bring your friends closer together. Almost everybody on your friends list, no, nearly everybody who even owns an xbox is gonna be on Reach 24/7 until the final days of xbox 360 so I can guarentee you'll always have friends to play with, make new friends quickly and they'll always want to play with you. =) It's really a game you shouldn't miss out on, whether your a fan of Halo or not, because what else are you gonna play while every single gamer on xbox live is playing halo reach, GTAIV? That boat has long set sail...

I said I'll try not to give too many spoilers away but I will say this, Dr. Catherine Halsey (Cortana when she was human) makes her first official apperance in this game (never mind that stupid anime barbie doll in Halo Legends, spouting her every familiar catchphrase like it's all she can say.) but I must say, she's kind of a real bitch! I kinda expected her to be really fun and quirky in the flesh like she is in her A.I. form but nope, she's more like an Alaskan Sarah Palin... oh wai!?
And like I said, Grunts don't really speak english in this game so don't expect any high pitched comic relief from them this time around, though I must say it actually suits them tbh, They're really more convincing as aliens and not cartoon mascots when they're speaking their own language. You really get a US vs THEM Feel to the game y'know? The Covenant are just more intimidating in general, its like your ACTUALLY there in the war, not just playing a video game in the comfort of your own home.

Well thats it from me, Sg. T.C. Emo signing out...
